The rooftop looks over one of the squares, so you can catch sunset or sunrise from up there. Staff were helpful and really friendly, and my room was clean with a comfortable bed. I liked the bamboo furniture and the timber building, which fits Bhaktapur's feel much better than a standard modern hotel. We visited on 23 December, close to Christmas, and got one complimentary breakfast, which was a nice touch.

We enjoyed relaxing on the roof terrace and watching the city, with Taumadhi Square on one side and daily life in Bhaktapur on the other. The host is lovely, knows a lot about Bhaktapur and Nepal, and speaks English very well. He seems happy to share his knowledge and suggest things to do if you haven't planned ahead. The other staff were also very nice. Hot showers were great, and you can get a room heater too. Highly recommend this guesthouse.

We spent two nights here. The staff were very nice and the food was great, but the guest house was quite disorganized. They had no record of our reservation when we arrived, tried to charge us for things we hadn't ordered, and we didn't get hot water because the waiter forgot to switch on the boiler after we asked.

The rooms were spacious and clean, with a properly warm shower and good hot water. I had a lovely stay in a friendly atmosphere, and the hospitality felt warm and welcoming. Ask for Suman Dhakal, he's a wonderful, friendly guy who'll take good care of things. The food was good and the menu is small. Service with the food was nice, though it could improve. They should also put a dustbin in every room.

We had dinner here in a clean, comfortable setting. It was quiet, with a cheerful and friendly atmosphere, and the meal was fresh and delicious. The food took a little time to arrive, though.
