The service was careless and unprofessional, and I left feeling badly treated. I had to go to the front desk myself just to get drinking water for the room, which I think should be a basic part of a hotel stay. The food order was worse. I asked for shampoo because there wasn't any in the bathroom, then ordered buff momo, chips chilly and veg chowmein. After a long wait, a white staff member with tattoos brought only the momo and admitted it had been ordered from outside and arrived without achar. He offered a discount and told me to eat it instead of taking responsibility. I declined and asked for fried rice. Nearly an hour later, he brought the same momo again, this time with achar, but I refused it. They still charged Rs. 500 for just chips chilly and veg chowmein. This was the worst hotel experience I've had, and I wouldn't recommend the place. They need to learn what hospitality means.

Suresh, the owner, made our stays feel wonderfully welcoming. We’ve been to Hotel Vintage Home three times, both on my own and with family, and the kindness and service have been lovely each time. It’s tucked into a cozy local neighborhood but close to all the major monuments in Bhaktapur. The rooms are very clean, breakfast is great, and the atmosphere feels nostalgic, like you’re truly being welcomed as a guest. I couldn't recommend it more, seven stars!

For the price, the quality is excellent, and the service was great. A lovely hotel close to the main historical sites, highly recommended.

The location worked well, and the room was nice and clean. The shower had hot water with good pressure, and breakfast was very nice too.
