The staff were helpful, and the room was cozy with all the amenities taken care of. Finding the place gave us a little trouble, and the location isn't great. It's in Kathmandu, so you shouldn't expect an amazing location, and there was some noise outside. All in all, I'd recommend it to anyone in the Kathmandu area.

We had a lovely week here. The staff were kind and helpful, and communicating with them in English was no problem. The fresh milk at breakfast was especially good, and the breakfast overall was delicious. Our room had a double bed plus a small extra bed, so there was plenty of space for our family or small group. Patan Durbar Square is only about a five-minute walk away, which made sightseeing easy. A cozy, comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended! 👍

I spent eight nights at Peace & Joy Guest House in Patan in August 2025. It's an easy walk to Patan Durbar Square, so I could explore the temples and narrow old streets without much trouble. After sightseeing, my clean, cozy room was a comfortable and peaceful place to come back to. The staff were kind and very friendly, and happy to help with directions or suggestions for things nearby. I also really liked the fresh, tasty breakfast on the rooftop terrace, with its lovely city views. It was a relaxing way to start each day, and I had a very pleasant stay. I'd definitely recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Kathmandu.
