Purnas Museum Resort

The views of the Himalayas are magnificent, and there are nice surroundings for strolling and short hikes. It also has a spiritual feel, sitting in the lap of Sri Santaneswor Mandir. We enjoyed the landscape, the small but interesting wood-carving museum, and the meals we had, lunch, dinner, and breakfast. The staff were polite and ready to help, and our room, while not very big, was clean and comfortable. The resort brings together Nepali and Newari architectural touches in a really thoughtful way. You can get a sense of the valley's old architecture here, even if you can't visit its beautiful durbar squares. It's a lovely, relaxing place, especially if you're after a quiet stay not too far from the city. We enjoyed it all and would come back in summer to make some memories by the pool too. 🙂

The view must be magnificent on a sunny day, though it was cloudy when I visited. It's a great spot for sightseeing, with genuine cuisine and friendly staff. Service was nice, and Prajwal did a really good job communicating with me. I had a wonderful experience and hope it feels just as good next time.

The Nepali and Newari cultural mix gives the place a great vibe. The small museum was really interesting, and I liked the atmosphere, the food, and the service. They've built something great here.

The city view from this resort is really nice, and the food was great. The staff were very hospitable, and there's a museum inside with all sorts of cool architecture. There's also a temple right beside it, or above it, where you can go for a short hike. One of the best resorts in the city, if not the best. It was a 10/10 experience for me, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay or visit.
