Bhairaj even spent over an hour waiting at the bank to get Nepali currency for me. He told me to relax in the gallery, then took care of arranging my travel too. He’s a lovely host and person, on top of having designed this place with such careful attention to detail. It’s an absolute gem, and the breakfast was great as well. Thanks, Bhairaj!

Kamala, who helps run the house, is so sweet and cooks really well. The food is nutritious, and you can go back for more. The service feels personal too, with people checking whether you slept and ate well and asking how your day went. The cozy house is full of art made by the owner, and there’s a lovely terrace where you can work or just relax. I had an amazing stay and felt right at home.

Kamala didi's healthy, delicious breakfast is a real treat, and she takes care of you like a Nepali mum. The place is in beautiful Lalitpur, right by Patan Dohka and within walking distance of Patan Durbar Square. This little gem, run by a warm-hearted and talented artist, made my time in Nepal feel complete. I loved every minute and can’t wait to return.
