We stayed for a week in room 309 with our two kids, and the staff gave us some of the warmest, most genuine service I've experienced in a long time. As a tour operator with two decades in the Himalayas, I know Lumbini's accommodation options well. We visit every year, and since my wife is Buddhist, we like to stay near the gate to Maya Devi Temple. This is now our favorite place for its service and location, and the prices are fair. The restaurant is quite good and has Thai options. I hope they keep investing in the property. They could also promote the small café with the espresso machine more, the one separate from the main restaurant. From a European point of view, it's a great stay. See you next year!

Being close to the Lumbini Mayadevi Temple was the only thing I liked. The room was very ordinary, and neither it nor the bathroom was properly cleaned or maintained. Overall, 3 out of 10. Sorry, there's nothing here that would make me want to visit again.

Right across from the main entrance to the Maya Devi temple, the hotel is very well located. Our room was spacious, nice, and clean, and the staff were very friendly. Thanks.

The dining area was nice, and the location is right opposite the gate to Lumbini, Buddha's birthplace. Our room was spacious and clean, and there was hot water available in the washroom.

The hotel is close to the temple, but there are other places around, so please look at those too. We came from India and had the worst experience of our whole Nepal trip. The staff were awful, the food quality was terrible, and they charged more for everything than other restaurants or hotels. I read the reviews and thought maybe the bad experiences weren't right after seeing the hotel from outside, but the restaurant staff and service changed my mind. Please don't eat here. The kitchen looked more unhygienic than the water at a street-side pani puri stall.
