The location worked really well for visiting the sites: it’s close to gate no.5 of Lumbini Sanskritik and Maya Devi Temple. You can enter through gate 5 and leave through Gate 4 without needing a rickshaw or taxi. The staff were helpful and went the extra mile to make us comfortable. The rooms had issues, though. Two of our triple-bed rooms were so small that we had to put luggage on the beds whenever we needed it, the balcony access was sealed, the decade-old AC was very slow, and neither bathroom had an exhaust fan. Mosquitoes were another problem. As of 15.05.2026, there was no breakfast menu book. We had to choose from a limited set of five items. The American breakfast came with bread, butter, an omelette, boiled corn, three small sausage pieces, and a tiny glass of juice. Indian breakfast took half an hour to prepare, so our group chose between American and Continental instead. What I saw in YouTube videos was different.

Bibek (Manager) and the team provided excellent service. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Peaceland and would happily come back. It’s perfectly placed for visiting the world heritage sites, including the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Thank you, highly recommended.

You can find a peaceful spot while travelling around Lumbini and the outer areas at Hotel Lumbini Peaceland. The rooftop grill bar has a pool table, and there’s a good in-house restaurant with nice food. Plenty of other food places nearby too, so you can find what you’re after. The Buddha Park (Gate 5) is a short walk away, and the Bazaar and its shops are only minutes off. For the low price, I found the clean rooms and attentive, friendly staff well worth it. They speak English, Nepalese, Hindi, and Urdu. Rooms have heating/AC you can set with a remote, hot water, and the listed amenities and in-room facilities. I enjoyed staying here and plan to stay longer when I return from my Pokhara tour. I recommend it to locals and foreigners alike.

The calm atmosphere made my stay especially enjoyable, and the location is convenient for visitors, just a short distance from the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha. Hotel Peaceland Lumbini was better than I expected. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food fresh and tasty, and the staff did a lot to make me feel welcome. I had a wonderful time and would gladly return. Highly recommended for a visit to Lumbini 👌

The elevator music was the most annoying part. They really need to switch it off. Everyone at the hotel was so nice, and the room was small, but the price was half that of other hotels of similar quality.
