The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the food on the menu tasted great too, though it was definitely priced like a luxury hotel. We paid 5000 for a room with breakfast, which felt like a good deal. Maybe it was the off season, since I think the usual rate would be higher. The room was large and clean, with a really comfortable bed, a bathtub, and a great shower with plenty of hot water. There was also a hot water boiler with tea and coffee. They even made me a latte with coconut cream, which made me happy.

The airport was only about 10 minutes away, and there were plenty of places to eat nearby. Our room was very spacious and had the things a traveller needs, including a kettle, hair dryer, and mini fridge. The hotel itself was nice and clean.

The staff were friendly, and I enjoyed the food. I liked the dining area and the hotel’s exterior, which has Jaipur vibes. I expected the inside might have a bit of that style too, but it was okay as it was. What bothered me was the extra 13% VAT still being added to the food menu. They need to get rid of that charge.

The restaurant on the first floor had good food and a nice range of drinks, and the staff were approachable and helpful. My room was neatly furnished and very clean. This was one of the nicest hotels I stayed at during my time in Nepal, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Nepalgunj.

The rooms are nicely done, the staff are helpful, and the food is very good. Last time I visited, the swimming pool was still being built. I guess now that it’s been added, this place will move well ahead of its competitors. It’s simply the best place in Nepal Gunj.
