Olive Tree Hotel

We normally book bed and breakfast, but we end up dining at the hotel most evenings because the food is fresh and varied. The staff are exemplary, kind and considerate, and always go the extra mile to make us feel welcome and cater to our needs. This was our fourth visit to this lovely hotel. The pool is a great size, the rooms are comfortable, and the towels and bed linen are changed frequently. The views are amazing. Thank you all for another lovely stay.

A nice, quiet hotel where you can relax. The food is good and tasty, and the staff are friendly. Kirenya is a 20-minute drive away, Bellapais monastery takes 15 minutes, and St Hilarion castle is about 40 minutes away. This is the place for a relaxing vacation.

I was very disappointed and won’t return to this hotel. On my first day, the manager came to my table and asked my nationality. When I said I was from Uzbekistan, he told me not to worry, he wouldn’t call POLICE. I was surprised and asked why he would call the police and what I had done. He kept repeating “don’t worry” and that he wouldn’t call the police, about 78 times. I told him to call them and asked why he’d come to my table to say that. I left the table, and he just laughed as if he’d done nothing. I tried calling the head of the hotel, but he wasn’t there. I came to Cypress to have a great time with my family, but I felt accused because of my nationality and put down in front of thousands of people in the dining room. I had to leave the hotel the next morning and didn’t get a refund for my five 5 day stay.

I spent three days here. The food was excellent, and the staff were overly helpful. Rooms with sea views are available. Staff like Kajal are especially attentive and helpful. I’ll certainly come again.
