About this property
The concept began with an idea and an ambition to create a paradise and a "mini-city style" community. This was achieved by using a collection of differing architectural projects all interconnected by pathways surrounded by lush landscaping and a wide choice of facilities for sport and leisure.
Fundamentally the region needed to be both by the sea, with its own beach and harbour, and up in the mountains. The strict request given to the architect at the design stage was that all apartments and villas must have sea views that can never be blocked. The concept became a reality and Sun Valley was born. Sun Valley is divided into two parts with Sun Valley Mountainside, consisting of six completed villages, and Sun Valley Seaside with two upcoming villages (both under construction).

You’ll need a car here, since there isn’t much to do within walking distance and Girne is about a half-hour drive away. Still, we had a lovely stay. Our apartment was clean, spacious, well equipped, and great to stay in. The pool was lovely, and having Taro restaurant on site made it easy to get food and drinks.

Every Friday at 7:30 a.m., a lawn mower starts up right below your window and wakes you. If you’re hoping to relax, I’d pick somewhere quieter.

I paid £55 for the ladies' day spa at the heart center, and it was one of the most spectacular experiences I’ve had. The facilities were spotless and included a sauna, steam room, massage room, and hammam. The staff were friendly, too.

If you want a quiet, peaceful break, Sun Valley Resort is an interesting option. The grounds are well looked after, and there’s a good-sized sports facility, a swimming pool, saunas, and massages. The restaurant beside the two-level pool is nice as well. Without a car, though, your options are the gym, pool, and restaurant.

It’s a beautiful residential property, and it’s clean and quiet. Residents get a great discount on membership, and there’s a great fitness club and spa nearby. You’ll need a car, though, since it isn’t walkable.
