Manolya

The reception staff were friendly when we arrived, but the hotel was nothing like the website photos. There was an awful smell, and the rooms, stairs, lift and restaurant were extremely dirty. I found urine on the toilet seat, ants everywhere and broken furniture. I asked to switch rooms right after check-in. The staff showed us other options, but each one seemed worse, so I refused to stay and we left. We’d booked through booking. Com and paid that way, and the hotel refused to refund us. I’m very disappointed and upset that neither the hotel nor booking .Com resolved it.

The hotel sits in a stunning spot, and I’d certainly return to the Manolya. I have mobility issues, but I could get to the pool area, and the staff were very helpful, even stopping a dolmus for me. The main road outside is another story: the pavement on both sides is dreadful, even for people who are fit and able-bodied. Around the pool, the depth needs clearer marking because it drops suddenly from a few feet to about 7 feet. A simple sign could help prevent a child getting into trouble. The staff were very responsive whenever we raised an issue.

This was our second stay at Manolya hotel, which is lovely and right above the sea. The beach has amazingly clean water, and the pool is brand new and modern. Everyone on staff was polite and helpful. Aydin was especially kind, greeting us with champagne and fresh fruit when we arrived.

We came back in July 2025 for another relaxing stay, and once again had a lovely few days. We try to fit in a break here several times a year because it’s such an easy place to unwind, close to excellent restaurants. The Manolya team make it work so smoothly, with charm and efficiency. Our room was tastefully decorated, with coffee and tea facilities and a mini fridge full of treats. The bed, bedding and pillows made for a great night’s sleep. The views are stunning whichever way you look, and there are plenty of sun-beds, hammocks and shaded spots by the pool. You can order from the pool bar, and steps beside the pool give easy access to the sea, which is shallow and feels safe. Breakfast is the best we’ve had: fresh, tasty options for different cultures and tastes, hot and cold, all replenished, with cheerful service in a lovely indoor or outdoor dining area. The woman who cleaned our room every day was delightful, hardworking and always smiling. The pool bar staff kept everything clean and tidy, and quietly made sure we had what we needed. There’s a full Drinks & Cocktail Menu and a big snack menu, so you can stay by the pool during the day. In the evening, bars and restaurants are within walking distance. We especially love The Blue Song next door. Its eating platform hangs over the sea, the menu is extensive, the service is great and the food is delicious. It gets packed, so booking is recommended.
