The room was nicely designed, clean, bright, and well air conditioned. The TV was good, and there was an empty mini fridge and a kettle. The bathroom let things down, though: I noticed some mold in the shower, an old shower head that needed replacing, and a large cockroach. I know weather and other factors can sometimes bring that sort of thing in. There’s no breakfast, and the hotel is a 26-minute walk from the lefkosa kıbhas station. After 6pm, reception isn’t there, so you have to call and solve a bit of a riddle to get the key. I actually found that fun and got into my room. The receptionist was friendly. I’d rate the room 4/5 and cleanliness 3.5/5, since the room itself was clean but the bathroom issues brought that down.

I chose this place for its location, but arrived late and ended up stuck outside until midnight. Check-in is only from 2pm-5pm, and the door says to call a number if you get there outside those hours. I called more than 22 times and was left alone in a dark building for hours. Luckily, there was another hotel nearby. I’ve never come across a hotel with such a short, three-hour check-in window. Absolutely shocking, and I’d never recommend staying here.

Rooms and suites are available, and everything felt modern and clean. The central spot has plenty of good shops and restaurants close by, and a taxi from the Ledra Street crossing cost €5. It’s like having a hotel room for a lot less. Highly recommend.

I spent three weeks here and felt at home. The rooms were quiet and very clean, the staff and reception were nice, and the price was fair. I’d recommend staying here.
