I give out lots of 5 stars, as you may have noticed, but that's because the experiences have been absolutely incredible and I've enjoyed them so much. Link water apartments has a beautiful pool, and the rooms were really spacious and clean. Juliet, who I dealt with, writes children's books, and we had the most amazing chats. Her husband was lovely too, as was her daughter in-law.

The location is peaceful and handy for Picton, Havelock and Blenheim, with a local pub/restaurant, petrol station, adventure hire equipment, walking and bicycle tracks, and the beach close by. Adam and Melissa were the kindest, most caring people, and made us feel welcome, comfortable and safe. We loved unwinding by the swimming pool and spa pool, or in the hammocks among the cherry trees. The self-contained rooms were clean, nicely decorated and had comfortable beds and a big shower head. We'll definitely return for the facilities, tranquil setting and wonderful service.

I spent five weeks here while working at Sanford mussle factory. There are budget rooms as well as self-contained units, and the place is modern, quiet and clean, set in stunning nature. Hiking and swimming are close by, with a restaurant and gas station 1-2 km away. Thanks to Adam and Melissa for a great stay. Markus from Norway

There’s fishing, swimming, boating, walks and other activities nearby, and a store and licensed hotel just two minutes away. The rooms have been modernised and there’s an outdoor pool. Upstairs could use heat pumps, though they provided a fan when I asked.

The person at check-in was absolutely amazing, really friendly and quick to answer questions about nearby places. Just be aware it’s a very long, winding drive to this remote location, which isn’t ideal if you need to catch an early ferry.
