Ross is an excellent cook, and we loved the family dogs. The farm itself was charming, with stunning views from our room. My husband and I felt at home right away because Judi and Ross greeted us so warmly. We'd highly recommend this farmstay, such a gem!

We planned to visit Southern Venues once last winter, but liked it so much that we returned twice more on our travels. The food and accommodation were fantastic, and those beds were amazing. The property has stunning views, lovely day hikes nearby, and we even got to look in on the wool shed while it was working. It's a proper farm stay with rustic charm, yet the B&B has all the amenities you'd want for a holiday. The similarly priced hotels we tried in Queenstown didn't compare. Highly recommended!
