Veronica is really helpful and nothing is too much trouble. There are laundry facilities available during the day, which have been a big help to me. The motel is close to a lovely beach, and you can ask for beach towels. Shops for essentials are nearby, and there’s a short walk to the bus stops with an excellent service. There are several places to eat close by, or you can walk to St Heliers for more choice. The welcome is fabulous, and the place has what you need for an enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds. I especially like the living area, with its cosy sofa and dining table. The bathroom has quality toiletries and towels, and there’s a fully equipped kitchen.

The host was lovely and helpful, and the room was great for a family and clean. It’s only 100m from the beach and places to eat. The host gave us ideas for things to do around Mission Bay, including an amazing park within walking distance. We’d highly recommend it if we come back to Auckland.

The beach and café are just a two-minute walk away. We had an amazing two-night stay with the kids and enjoyed everything about the room, the bed, and the setup. There was so much care put into it, which is commendable. Veronica was pleasant and informative from check-in, and went beyond what we needed. Thank you, Veronica 😊 We’ll definitely be back.

We were keen to return, and it didn’t disappoint. My family came over from Wānaka to New Zealand for my milestone birthday, and the owners made us feel incredibly welcome. They even joined in our celebrations, making it feel extra special. It’s clean and friendly, and really feels like coming home. Thanks for all the warmth and hospitality. We’ll definitely be back. The owner gave us a helpful tour of the room. It has basic decor and a comfy bed, and was very clean. From the nice balcony there are views towards the beach. There are a few good places to eat nearby, or you can walk down to Mission Bay for lots of restaurants and bars. The bus to the city centre is easy, runs every 15 minutes, and you just tap on and off.
