Boulevard Hotel

Staff were very friendly and check-in was quick. We had free parking, and the room was spacious, but it was old, with dents in the walls and scratches. There were a few little stains on the duvet, and the bathroom plug didn't work. I didn't much like the smell in the lobby and hallway. I enjoyed our stay, but those were the things I didn't like. We paid $151 for the night.

The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, and check-in was quick and hassle-free. The Boulevard Hotel is close to shops, cafes and main attractions, only a few minutes from things, which is convenient for business or exploring. For around $100 a night, I got a clean, comfortable, spacious room with a good bed and everything I needed to relax. It felt like very good value for the price. I'd definitely stay again.

Good location, but the hotel seems to have been neglected for a long time. The air conditioning switches off by itself, and one room had no working AC. Reception insisted it wasn't proper AC even though it clearly was. Half the switches and lights don't work. The kitchen facilities weren't up to standard, there were no kitchen towels, and they didn't provide any for us personally. The toilet flush doesn't work unless you fix it by hand. The lounge suite is covered in stains and doesn't look properly cleaned. The beds feel decades old, sagging so badly it feels like you're going to fall out. Would never recommend this place.

Could possibly be an emergency housing place. There were unsavoury people hanging around outside at night, and they wandered in with us. The room was very clean, but we're sure the beds had been slept in. There were no utensils or plates, though there was a toaster and microwave. There was only one light, and it was red??? The bed was very comfy, the old couch was suitable, it was quiet, and the shower pressure was good. Still, we won't go back.
