Crown on Cintra Lane Serviced Apartments

The apartments are spacious, clean and well equipped, and the price is good for what you get. It’s a bit outside the city centre, but still reasonably accessible. Parking was very tight and cost an extra $20 a night. Our late check-in went smoothly. I’d recommend it as a cheaper option in an expensive city.

The staff were very helpful, and the security team were great. But the first 14 floors are used for government emergency housing, and the clients were interesting, to say the least. The rooms didn’t look like the online photos and need some work. I won’t stay here again, and I don’t recommend it.

We got 1.5G of data for three days, barely used any, and it expired in less than 24 hours during our stay. The location was hard to drive around because of the steep roads. The atmosphere was decent, but aircraft often passed nearby and made it noisy. One of the bathroom’s two doors couldn’t be locked, which was another downside.

I paid $182 a night and it really wasn’t worth it. On a hot summer day, the room was unbearable without air-con. The staff weren’t helpful: I asked how to get to the nearby wharf, and they didn’t know where it was. Housekeeping was hopeless too. I got back to the apartment at 4pm on the first day and it still hadn’t been cleaned. There were long black hairs on the folded towels that were meant to be clean. My hair is very short, so they definitely weren’t mine.
