I’m sorry Kim is closing the motel. I’ve enjoyed his hospitality for 15 years. With the lease’s ground rent increase, continuing to run it as a motel isn’t economical. All the best to Kim and his family.

It was cheap, clean and tidy, with everything you need and a big shower. I stayed a couple of nights in September and enjoyed it, apart from the crap weather.

We were greeted very warmly. The place we stayed was basic but adequate, and really clean.

The owner was nice, but the place is run down and has a strange smell. I guess that’s what you get for this sort of money in Auckland!?

Just what you'd expect, cheap and cheerful.
