Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour

My aunt had a medical issue during our week at Sofitel, and the staff supported us from A to Z. They helped arrange airport transfers and were present and attentive whenever we needed assistance. Their help made us feel safe and cared for. The reception team were especially kind and professional, particularly Natasha, Maneet, and Vaibhav. Service was impeccable from start to finish. We’re deeply grateful and highly recommend staying here.

The WiFi in my room was really bad during my stay, which was one clear negative. The Executive club also felt a bit underwhelming compared with other hotel clubs I’ve visited. The hotel was exceptionally quiet, though it seemed there weren’t many guests around. This was my first trip to Auckland, so I can’t compare it with other places in the area. The atmosphere felt a little odd to me. Not a bad hotel, but not exceptional beside other high-end places I’ve stayed.

Mais did a great job taking care of all our meeting needs, and the whole team looked after us well during our 2 days and 2 nights at Sofitel AKL. Our group of 12 had an ideal room, the catering was on point, and everyone liked being close to town and the walking routes. Staff were attentive and helpful while still giving us plenty of space. The gym was well equipped and the pool was good. Big thanks to the team.

The included breakfast was fabulous, a great way to start the day. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with very comfy beds. The hotel is on the viaduct harbour, so downtown and Auckland’s sights are just a short walk away. Everything you’d expect from Sofitel.
