The breakfast was fantastic, almost like something you’d get at a hotel, and the kitchen was easy to use, with everything clearly labelled. We had enough room in our decent-sized room for our bags and the things we needed. The place was clean and nice, and we spent more time watching Netflix in the living room than we probably should have 😃. We saw the owners only a few times during our stay of several days.

It was clean overall, and the price seemed fair for what you get. The place is tiny, set up in a garage, and the full-size sofa bed didn’t fit my 6.6-foot (2-meter) husband. There’s a washer and dryer and the internet was okay, but no TV. Guests looking for a friendly host may be disappointed.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. You can park for free on the street, and central Auckland is close enough to walk to. Good value for the money.

It was clean and close to K Road, though I found the place a little hard to locate. The owners seemed a bit odd.
