Youth Bliss

We paid for two nights and left on the spot. We’d stated in the booking how many people were staying and that we were having a family BBQ. We weren’t loud and caused no damage, but the owners apparently watched us on their surveillance cameras and wanted to charge per person who came by for a few hours. It felt like a huge breach of privacy. They stormed into our Christmas lunch, yelled and swore at everyone in front of our children, and got in people’s faces. They knocked two phones out of people’s hands while they were filming. Then they told us to leave without time to pack, and parked in the driveway to block us in. The man left only after police were called, and they spoke sternly to him about his conduct. If you want to be watched the whole time, charged $50 for each visitor, and have the owners storm in aggressively in front of your kids, this is the place for you. Keep the police on speed dial.

My cousin hired this place for two kids and two adults. Another family member and I stopped by for dinner, but the landlords were rude and called to kick them out at 10 because they wanted to charge per guest. We were only there for dinner and a couple of wines. The owners watch your every move through the cameras like stalkers. At 4 in the morning, the husband and wife arrived swearing and being vulgar while they were being recorded. They drove up and down the road, making my cousin and the kids uncomfortable, so they left and slept in a car on the road. I would’ve taken it further, but they had to think about the kids. This was the worst place ever. I wouldn’t suggest my dog sleep there for even one night.

Great house and setup, and the location is perfect. I’ll definitely book again next time.
