Spring Creek Holiday Park

Judy was a lovely lady. When we left, she ran after us with our step stool to make sure we didn't forget it. We'd definitely stay there again! We arrived later than planned, so the holiday park information had been sent to us by email. Judy showed us to our site because we couldn't open the park map on our phone. The facilities were clean, there were enough washing machines and dryers, and the park was nice.

We picked this powered site as a base for wine tours, and the tour company collected us and brought us back here. Spring Creek had everything we needed, and the staff were really friendly at check-in and happy to answer our questions about the area. It was peaceful, and though the facilities are a bit older, they were kept very clean. Just right for our stay.

We liked it enough to add an extra night, and had our caravan parked right beside the river. The facilities were clean and the staff lovely. A couple of things didn’t work out as we’d hoped: Wi-Fi isn’t unlimited, and the pool was out of action, something the website hadn’t been updated to mention. Traffic noise was also a problem for my sleep. On Thursday it started around 5am and seemed nonstop, so I was glad to leave that day and find somewhere quiet to rest.

There’s a fruit and veg shop just across the road, plus a 4Square about a five-minute walk away for anything you’ve forgotten. We managed to get the last powered site for our camper. It didn’t back onto the creek like many of the others, but was still a nice spot, with grass for our dog. The shared facilities were really good, and I loved the music playing in the toilet and shower block. It’s one of the larger holiday parks we’ve visited lately, yet it never felt crowded. We’d like to return and plan ahead for a site by the creek.
