We could hear the traffic a little, but it wasn’t too noisy even with the windows open. The place was easy to find on the main road, and handy for exploring nearby towns and some lovely places to eat. Beds were comfy, and the dining table was useful. The room had good amenities, including a microwave and an air fryer, which helped us avoid eating out every night. Nice to have a little box of milk for a cuppa and a range of hot drinks too. The shower was pleasant, though the water pressure was so low that rinsing shampoo took about three times as long. The TV internet was patchy, so we used our phones for entertainment.

We originally booked one of the cabins for three nights, but my wheelchair fit inside and couldn’t get through the communal bathroom doors. I mentioned it to the staff, and they quickly moved us to another room with its own bathroom. Then one of us got sick and we needed four extra nights. They were very accommodating about that too. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable, and the location is great. There’s a pool, a spa and very affordable laundry. I also liked seeing that dogs can stay in the camping area. Would definitely recommend it.

Road closures after a major storm left us needing somewhere to stay unexpectedly, and a Mobil petrol station recommended this place. We were welcomed warmly into a super-clean studio unit. The beds were comfortable, the sheets felt high-end, and the shower was very good. Highly recommended.

A quiet little escape with small-town vibes. The owner was great and the staff were fantastic too. I’m a rancher and horseman from the States, not some spoiled rich brat from the city. Highly recommend.

We had a cosy room with a comfortable bed and a TV, and all the facilities were clean, easy to get to and had what we needed. The showers were hot with great pressure, and the picnic tables made for a cute outdoor spot. We didn’t try the spa or pool, though other guests seemed to be enjoying them. Staff were friendly and worked with us when we changed our booking at short notice. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to friends and family.
