Daffodil Motel Hotel

I stayed for 4 weeks and found the room very quiet, even though it’s on a main road. The bed was very comfortable, all the facilities were there, and room service was excellent. Thanks to Sukh and your staff. Hagley Park and Botanic Gardens are close, and the city centre is walkable. Good value, and I’d highly recommend it.

After long days exploring, we really appreciated how quiet the room was, even right beside the main street, and the bed was so comfortable that we slept well. Daffodil Motel was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed, with a very calm feel and good value for money. Its location made it easy to get into the city and take a short walk through Hagley Park and the Botanic Gardens, while shops, cafes, and attractions were nearby too. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return or recommend Daffodil Motel to anyone visiting Christchurch.

We had a great stay at Daffodil motel and thought it was excellent value. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and cleaned the room daily and changed the sheets. The rooms and bathroom were clean, and the beds had pristine white sheets and towels. Our unit had two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchenette with basic pots, dishes and cutlery. There was a king bed for the parents and two twin beds for the kids. The location worked well too: a 10-minute walk to a lively area with restaurants and shops, and another 10-minute walk to a large park with a kids playground. It was a 35-minute walk through the park to the touristy centre and hop-on hop-off tram. I’d stay here again.

Service was excellent throughout, and the en suite rooms were exceptionally clean, each with its own kitchen. This place is a real gem. Keep up the good work.
