The beds were comfortable, the rooms nice, and there were separate bathrooms and shower rooms. That setup had a downside, though: there didn't seem to be enough for everyone staying. My main issue was that they closed every bathroom on my floor, one of two floors, from 8am to 9am. That meant at least half of all the bathrooms, as far as I could tell, were shut right when people would be getting up to use the toilet, shower, or brush their teeth. I couldn't do any of that until they were finished. Seems a strange time to close them. Otherwise it was a nice hostel with good WiFi. I stayed one night.

All the staff were kind, and Diego was especially great. I didn't have a locker key or hairdryer, and he kindly lent me both for free. The room and shared areas were very clean, and I had a quiet, comfortable two-day stay. There are lots of bathrooms, so I could always find one free and never had trouble using them. It's right in the city centre, which is handy, and the bus station is easy to reach on foot. Highly recommended!

The location was superb, really close to the airport bus stop. The guy at reception was lovely, helpful, and informative. We hadn't realised the bathrooms were shared individual ones when we booked, but it wasn't a problem. Clean rooms, good sheets, and a fridge and kettle in the room. The communal area was lovely too, with a bookshelf where you could leave a book or pick one up. Wonderful!

For a short, affordable trip to Christchurch, this worked out really well. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with a bed that made it easy to rest after a day out. The simple bathroom had what we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The city centre was just a five-minute walk away, which made getting around on foot convenient. Good value for money for a short stay.

They were very accommodating and let us check in early. We had a double private room that was clean and comfortable, and the receptionist, who spoke Spanish, was especially helpful and hospitable. Great value for money and a super location. Thank you, Sarah from Dublin.
