When our van was damaged while we were travelling around the area, the motel owners did everything they could to help. During the busy Easter period, they let us keep a flexible checkout date depending on when the van was fixed. The motel was comfortable and clean, and all the staff were very helpful. It’s in a great location near the heritage town. Highly recommend.

There aren’t many affordable motels left in the area for Kiwis. This was one of the cheapest around, and the only reason we could afford a holiday in Central Otago, with day trips to Queenstown, Wanaka, and Alexandra. I highly recommend this place.

For the price, I thought it was great. The motel was quiet that night, so we got upgraded, and having the extra bedroom really made a difference to our stay. Thank you.

The way they treated people who arrived late was extremely bad. They gave customers ugly looks and charged excessive, tyrannical fees because we were late. Tourism businesses should understand that giving customers a good impression needs to be a priority.

The service was great, but our room was tired and stuck out the back, unlike the other rooms. It was mostly clean, though there was black hair in the bathroom. The shower was awful. It felt like the floor might give way, and the water swung between burning hot and stone cold.
