We walked into town from Beechwood, so there was no need for us to stay downtown. We spent three days here in mid May 2026, and Room 10 upstairs had little views from some of its windows. The whole place was quiet, and the room was upgraded, in excellent condition, and had what we needed to be comfortable. We cooked dinner in the kitchen three nights and it worked really well. Great hosts, too.

Mackey and Dion were so friendly and hospitable, and the location was good. We stayed in 14 different places on our NZ trip, and this was the best. The unit was spacious and pristine, with a large sofa and armchair, a comfortable bed, and an amazing bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped, oven included. A really pleasant stay, thank you.

The owners are warm and welcoming, and you can see how much care they put into the place. Everything was spotlessly clean and nicely presented, with a fresh, pleasant smell throughout. The modern rooms are comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, so it was easy to settle in right away. We'd absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone after a comfortable, high-quality stay.

We were able to cook for ourselves, with a stovetop and oven in the room, and the beds were comfortable. The room was clean and modern, and daily servicing was a nice extra during our weeklong stay while we travelled around Dunedin and the district. There was plenty of hot water for showers. It's close to town, the hospital, and the university. A great stay.

The owners were really helpful, the location was great, and the modern rooms were clean. Very comfortable beds, too. Nothing to fault.
