Darren and Sylvie have kept this beautiful old police station in great shape. They gave us a warm welcome, and both the room and living room were spacious and spotlessly clean.

We had a little cottage to ourselves, with a comfy bed, good TV, microwave, cooking facilities, and good WiFi. The owner was really friendly and helpful, and the town was interesting too. Loved the place, highly recommend.

A short walk gets you to the amenities and the beach, which makes The Station House a great spot. You can feel the history here, along with the personal care put into it. It’s a quirky little place with real character, warmth, and tranquility, definitely not just any motel. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. A unique little gem, well worth a visit.

Collingwood is a very quiet town, and this motel is right on the main street, close to the beach. At low tide the sea recedes and the beach spreads out in the evening. Cape Farewell and Wharariki Beach are nearby attractions. The room was cozy and clean, with a small kitchenette, fridge, and a pleasant shower. A good choice for anyone who likes quiet, and the price is excellent.

Sylvie was very welcoming, and the motel was spotlessly clean with several room options. We booked late and got a small room by the street, but it had everything we needed, and noise wasn’t a problem in such a small town. Friends had bigger rooms, including one overlooking the garden, with a nice outdoor area guests could use, a fireplace, and a trampoline. My one concern was that I couldn’t find any Covid-19 QR codes to scan.
