Hana Lodge

The property had such a peaceful feel, and I felt more relaxed there than anywhere else on our three-week trip to NZ. It was our favorite hotel. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean, with great soap products, and our daughter loved seeing bunnies everywhere. Breakfast was fantastic, and the GM was amazing. The newer woman who checked us in could use a bit of customer service training, but the GM more than made up for it. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re looking to unwind.

Dinner was the one letdown. We expected something different for the price, although the service was great as usual. We told Rajiv, and he kindly discounted the meal, which we really appreciated. Everything else made this birthday stay special. My husband booked it, and as soon as we arrived Rajiv welcomed us, helped with our luggage, and brought a complimentary drink and olives. He showed us around the grounds and was there whenever we had a question or needed something. He went above and beyond and was the best person we’ve met at any hotel or accommodation. Hana Lodge is stunning, with a feel that reminded me of a Jane Austen film, and it’s inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Breakfast was amazing, and Grace and Sweta gave us wonderful service too. Rajiv’s service was 6/5 and the accommodation 5/5. We still have one night left and are excited for it. We’ll definitely come back on another trip. Thank you to Rajiv, Sweta, and Grace!

The grounds are gorgeous and well cared for, and Hana Lodge is such a beautiful, relaxing place. We came back each day around four to unwind at the lodge. The rooms are impeccable and have everything you could want, with staff ready to arrange anything missing. Everyone is attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. We’ll definitely return for another relaxing break.

The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the rooms come very well equipped. The staff are eager to please, especially at breakfast. Rajiv and Sandeep were both helpful and hospitable. It’s a stunning property, and we’d highly recommend the hotel. We’ll be back.
