Hanmer Springs Scenic Views Motel

We visited the thermal pools in Hanmer Springs as a group of 12, and it was one of the best experiences of our whole trip. The surroundings are breathtaking, the pools relaxing, and the atmosphere works well for families and groups. Prices are very reasonable, so it felt like excellent value for money. Sunny, the caretaker, deserves a special mention. He was welcoming, helpful, and attentive, and his friendly service made the visit even more enjoyable. A beautiful, scenic place that I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Hanmer Springs.

The location made it easy to walk into town and to the hot pools, and the studio was spacious for the price. I stayed overnight on 16-17 May and was welcomed by the manager, who personally showed me around, a thoughtful touch. Everything was spotless and smelled fresh. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the bathroom had shampoo and body wash. I also liked sitting on the front deck with a glass of wine as the sun went down. The heat pump kept the unit warm. I’d book this motel again if I’m back in Hanmer. Great service, good value, and highly recommended.

Rooms were quiet and clean, with modern facilities, and parking was good. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was competitive. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The lounge was roomy, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms were neat and clean. Internet speed was good, with tea and coffee options too. There were also pleasant views from the lounge and patio.
