The mountain views were lovely, and town, including the hot springs, is an easy walk away. We only stopped for one night during a road trip, but liked it enough to want to return for a whole week. Staff were exceptionally helpful, and the shared bathrooms felt hotel-quality. You can get coffee at reception. Families are well catered for, with a playground, jumping pillow, and carts. There are pizza ovens and BBQs, and frozen pizzas for the ovens can be bought at reception. Wood-fired hot tubs are also available to hire by the hour.

We stayed in one of the villas, which felt quite classy, and made good use of the clean BBQ on our deck. There are more BBQs around the grounds as well as indoor kitchens. The park is nicely laid out for caravans, motorhomes, tents, or cottages. Wood-fired hot tubs are available, and the township is an easy short walk away. We enjoyed our stay.

We were on a bitumen site near the playground, and I’d choose a spot farther away next time if quiet is important. The thermal springs are close, and you can catch glimpses of mountain peaks. The toilet and shower booths were very clean, spacious, and had dual shower heads. A powered site wasn’t cheap, but the shower facilities alone made it well worth it. I didn’t try the hot tubs, though they looked private; you can book one for up to 5 people, with wine glasses, chilled water, and towels provided. Awesome.

The hot tubs were great, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s a lovely campground in a great location. The facilities were fairly good, though the original bathrooms could use an upgrade. I’d definitely stay here again.

The shower setup made for a pretty unpleasant experience. Water pressure was extremely low, and the temperature kept fluctuating, so I had to keep adjusting the controls. The welcome instructions don’t mention that the push-button lights switch off after about 7 minutes, including the 3 minutes it takes to get undressed and hang up your things. Luckily I showered during the day. The grounds themselves were lovely and well manicured, and the facilities were very well maintained.
