I’ve stayed here twice and both times found everything thoroughly clean and tidy. The common areas are nice and accessible, and the location is great, practically next to the pools. Real value for money.

I only wish I could have stayed longer than one night. On Oct.29, before returning to Australia, I stayed at Kakapo Lodge, where I’d also been many years ago under different management. Carrie made me feel welcome and valued, and the room she prepared was nicely decorated and comfortable, with a real sense of serenity. Everything at the Lodge seemed thoughtfully planned and worked well, making for a most enjoyable stay. Carrie, James, and Suki, congratulations on creating such a lovely place. I hope to return next year. Looking back, I can’t think of anything you could improve, and the reviews suggest many other guests feel the same.

The manager here is a very nice young man, and his partner has a kind heart. The staff are nice too. Treat them with respect and show them manners, and they’ll treat you like a friend.
