The garden is beautiful, with flowers, a fish pond, and a budgie in its cage. There are two rooms, and we stayed in the Mt Isobel room, which I thought had the better view. It was clean and tidy, with its own bathroom. There’s no breakfast, but eating out is easy, and lots of places are close enough to walk to. Before checking in, we went to Hanmer Springs in the morning. Afterwards, we walked to the forest with the wooden sculptures.

The two adjoining units are separate from the main house and have excellent parking. Each opens onto the immaculate garden, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms are wonderful, with large bathrooms, heated floors, and beautifully appointed main rooms. The hosts are great, and it’s ideally placed for a pleasant stroll into town.

The gardens were gorgeous, and the unit was so clean and peaceful. Jan welcomed us and showed us around. We also really enjoyed the fresh fruit and baking she had left for us. Thanks for a lovely stay, Jan. Highly recommend. Cheers, Sophie and Nigel.

We loved the thoughtful treats, especially the chocolate egg and ginger slice. Jan gave us such a warm welcome and showed us to a lovely space with beautiful mountain views. Hanmer is close by too.

A really comfortable unit and lovely hosts. It's tucked away from the busy centre of Hanmer, which made it a great little break for resting and relaxing.
