We spent two nights here, including one with the gold spa package, and left feeling completely pampered. The treatments were divine, relaxing us from head to toe. The hosts and everyone on staff we met were so warm and welcoming. We also had dinner and breakfast provided. There were great choices, and both meals we picked were delicious home cooking, including homemade bread. Adela and Jan are lovely people. It was a real pleasure to stay, and we’ll definitely book again. I can’t recommend this enough for a 100% pamper weekend away.

Jan and Adela’s personal, warm touch made this lovely retreat feel special from the start. We were there for our wedding anniversary, and wanted something more intimate than our usual standard motel and dinner out. This place exceeded what we’d hoped for. Our couples massage was beautiful, the room was gorgeous, tidy, clean and luxurious, and it even had its own sauna. Then came an amazing two-course breakfast. We couldn’t fault a thing. Highly recommend.

I left smiling for the rest of the day, and I’m sure my family appreciated how relaxed I was. I’d hesitated at the price because my usual massages in Christchurch are really cheap, about $75 an hour, and honestly not bad. But this was worth every cent. I felt completely spoiled and pampered. I can’t fault the service. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in Hanmer. I’ve tried this and the pools day spa, and with similar pricing for both, I’d definitely choose this one.

Jennifer and Shion, apologies if I’ve got either spelling wrong, gave us a couples massage that left us more relaxed and refreshed than we’ve felt in a long time. They were professional, kind and respectful throughout. The care started as soon as we arrived, with a warm welcome at the door and refreshments before and after. The place is tucked away from the main road, so it feels peaceful. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back.

The setting at Vibrant Retreat was so beautiful and peaceful that it felt like escaping the outside world. My two sisters and I each had a one-hour massage, and we all came away feeling refreshed and rebalanced. The staff greeted us with genuine warmth and took such good care of us from the moment we arrived. It was an unforgettable visit, and we’re already talking about going again. I couldn’t recommend Vibrant Retreat highly enough.
