The peaceful setting and kind hospitality made Sunshine Suites a lovely place to stay in Lake Tekapo. The room was clean and cozy, with everything we needed after a long drive. Lu, the owner, was especially welcoming and accommodating. He went out of his way to help with our requests, and that personal touch made a real difference. Highly recommended for a stay in Tekapo.

We loved having the little deck, especially for stargazing in the quiet surroundings, and the internet connection was strong enough to plan our next steps easily. The parking spot was a bit tight, but only a small inconvenience. For our one night, the unit was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The shower pressure was incredibly strong, almost like getting a massage after a day exploring. We highly recommend this hotel.

The parking is terrible, though otherwise it’s a nice place. It’s quite expensive, but I guess that’s what you pay for Lake Tekapo.

The room’s interior looked amazing, and everything was new. For the price, the service and attitude were amazing too. Lovely room, highly suggested. Thanks Lulu!

Really handy to cancel two hours before arrival time. This place needs better management.
