The living area has a great view, and the log burner made the house feel warm and cozy. It was clean and well equipped, and worked really well for our family holiday with two families. Bring your own cooking basics, though, like spices and kitchen or drying towels. They did provide two hair dryers and toilet paper. A board game for the kids would have been nice.

It's private and has plenty of room, with everything you need. The spot is excellent, though road noise takes away a little when you're sitting outside. If that doesn't bother you, it's an ideal place.

I didn't stay there myself, I was in a house a few doors up. But I want to thank the three cleaners from Uruguay for helping us in the snow to turn on a tap. I really appreciate it.

Lovely place with a good-sized garden and plenty of space. It was nice to take a cloth out at night, spread it down, and look at the stars.

My daughter brought me and the family to Lake Tekapo, and The Barn was a great place to stay. It had great facilities for families.
