We only wish we could have stayed longer. The location was perfect, a few minutes from the village centre, restaurants, and grocery store, and also close to the start of the Mt. John observatory hike. We stayed in the barn, a beautiful, very clean and spacious unit with far more than we needed. The service was immaculate, and the owner was such a sweet lady, always smiling. She even helped us with our laundry.

The view is sublime, and it was just a quick walk to the heart of town. After a friendly welcome and short tour, we settled into suites that felt cosy, clean, and inviting. They'd thought of the little things, like milk in a glass bottle in the fridge with a Mackenzie Suites sticker. The bed was warm and comfortable, and the bath was one of the best I've had, with a shape that's perfect for relaxing. Thanks for hosting us. We hope to return soon.

We stayed in the barn, with its cute sliding doors and a picture of the mountains on the wall. The unit was warm and welcoming, and the kitchen had all the facilities we needed. It's in a beautiful spot overlooking the lake, just outside the small town. Our hosts gave us useful information too. Highly recommended.

We could see Lake Tekapo right from the property, and on a clear night the low light pollution should make it possible to see the stars. It's a couple of minutes' drive from the main road, so the place was quiet the whole time. Check-in was easy, the host was friendly, and the property was clean and well maintained, with a well-equipped kitchen. I had a great stay.

Everything we needed was there and worked well, and the bath was especially appreciated. The apartment was comfortable and very quiet, with an easy parking and access setup. The lake views were great, the bed was comfortable, and the location was convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommended.
