The shops are an easy walk away, and the staff and owners were so helpful and lovely. Our room at Foreshore Motor Lodge was comfortable and really nice. We'd gladly stay again.

The foreshore is right across the road, which made for a nice walk, and we could reach plenty of restaurants and shops on foot. The location worked well for us since we wanted to be outside Wellington but still have easy access to it. Service was good. The room was average, and we've stayed in better places.

A friendly, cosy spot right on Esplanade, with plenty of places to eat nearby, plus a petrol station, supermarket and McDonald. The owner was lovely, and it's about a 15-minute drive into Wellington CBD. Nice place to head out for a walk too.

We needed urgent help with a young child, but the staff said they were “too busy” and wouldn't assist. Reception and service were extremely rude and unhelpful, whatever you might think of the room or location.
