We arrived later than planned because the ferry was delayed, and Jane was very gracious about it. Our front room had a lovely bow window, and the house itself has been beautifully restored. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and an amazing ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and filling, and we had a lovely conversation with our hosts afterwards. We wished we’d booked a longer stay.
Jane and Alistair were friendly and attentive while still giving us space, and the included breakfast was spot on, with GF options. The location was convenient and quiet. We had a relaxing, rejuvenating stay in a beautiful character villa with all the modern comforts you could want. The beds were amazing, the bathroom was stunning, and the lounge was a great place to relax or watch movies with surround sound. Thanks so much, Jane and Alistair. Your hard work and attention to detail really show.
Jane and Alastair are wonderful hosts with a wealth of hospitality knowledge. The villa is beautiful inside and out, with lovely gardens to explore and a cozy interior. Guests have private rooms and a separate TV and lounge area to use. The thoughtful touches really make the place special. I’d definitely recommend it, five stars!
Pepper Tree was a delight, beautifully presented, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details. Jane and Alistair made us feel welcome, and we found we shared a love of gardening. Jane kindly took time to show us around her lovely garden. We’ll be back!
The hosts were caring and very helpful, and the hospitality was great. I had an awesome, comfortable room and an amazing breakfast. It’s close to town too. I’d highly recommend staying here, and I’ll definitely return next time I’m in town.
