Tony made sure we knew what to expect as the cyclone approached. He came out in the rain the next morning to warn us the wind and rain would pick up, and offered to bring us anything we needed. That kind of care made the stay memorable. The room was spotless, from the fresh sheets and pillows to the bathroom with not a stray hair in sight. Even the neatly arranged kitchen utensils and their color coordination showed the lady host's thoughtfulness. We stayed at Broadway Matamata Motel during two days of the cyclone and had a wonderful experience. We'd happily recommend it.

The kids had games to play and loved the playground, and the pool was sparkling clean. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had the amenities and toiletries we needed. Getting around was easy too, with the city center, Woolworths, the information center, and plenty of places to eat all within walking distance. The owner gave us a warm welcome, and check-in and checkout were smooth. Broadway Motel really did feel like “Home away from home.” A great choice for families.

After the Christmas Feast at Hobbiton, we stayed for one night. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. It's an easy walk to the visitor centre for pickup. Would recommend.

The garden feels lovingly cared for, with lots of flowers, a ping-pong table, and toys for the kids. The pool is cute too. Everyone was welcoming, and our room was spacious and spotless. We loved our one-night stay here.

Very tidy and clean. The shower could use more pressure, though I got my morning run chasing the droplets around! TV uses apps, so bring your logins. I'd stay again.
