The breakfast had everything we needed, and all the staff we met were friendly and a real asset to the resort. Richard was especially hospitable, going out of his way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Methven Resort was great value for money, and I’d highly recommend it.

The place is a bit dated, so I’m looking forward to seeing it renovated. For now, it’s well cleaned and looked after. The crew are doing a great job of making it a good place to stay, and they were really nice to deal with.

Waking up to snowfall was lovely, and we could watch it from the breakfast area. Inside, it was wonderfully warm. Our room was a little dated but spacious, with everything we needed. The staff were so warm and welcoming, and the pool table and breakfast were great. Amazing service and excellent value for money. Thanks for making the stay so enjoyable.

It’s an easy 10-minute walk into Methven for the shops, pubs, and restaurants. The man at reception made us feel very welcome, and our good-sized room had everything we needed: a comfortable double bed, en-suite, sitting area, fridge, and drink-making facilities. A very relaxing stay, thank you.

The restaurant meal was nice, but the menu and prices didn’t match what was online. We also couldn’t find the pool shown on the website, and the photos looked nothing like the place. At check-in, we were told someone else wanted the room we’d paid for, so ours had been changed. The room we got didn’t look like the one we booked. We were on our honeymoon, and this was our last stop. We regret staying here. People ran up and down the hallway all night, and we could hear every conversation whenever someone spoke there. In the morning, we were woken by the person in the next room going to the toilet and coughing. It was absolutely disgusting. I do not recommend this place.
