Julie was so welcoming and gave us useful tips about the area. She even did our dishes, replenished the breakfast food in the fridge and tidied up every day. The guest rooms are upstairs, each with private amenities, and ours had a lovely mountain view. The neighborhood is peaceful and cute. The room was spacious and extremely clean, cleaner than any other hotel I stayed in during my three weeks in New Zealand. Staying in someone’s home can feel awkward, but it didn’t here. Great value for the area, and I’d absolutely come back.

Julie was friendly and helpful, and even offered to drop us into town. It’s around a 20-minute walk or a three-minute drive, and close to Kaiteriteri. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, with beautiful views over the ranges, and breakfast was good. I’d happily stay again and highly recommend it.

The breakfast was nutritious, and Julie’s homemade hot cross buns were delicious. Julie and Grant were friendly and full of useful information about local attractions. Our room was spotless, felt like five star, and had everything we needed. I can fully recommend staying with them. Marty, Angelita & Zaina. Australia 🇦🇺

We came for a peaceful stay and got exactly that, with a good bed, fresh fruit and an easy-to-find location near local restaurants. The room had all the amenities we needed for bed and breakfast. Julie was always friendly, the muesli was a big hit, and her home-baked hot cross buns were magnificent. Thank you, and we’ll see you again.
