The fireplace is gorgeous, and the house is so comfortable, with lots of little luxuries, art and historic memorabilia. Carolyn was a friendly host who looked after us superbly, and she cooked us a delicious breakfast. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. I’d highly recommend staying here if you’re lucky enough to be in the area.

Even with the old girl getting a new "coat", we enjoyed two nights inside her historic walls and cottage garden. The owner, manager and staff were fantastic. Go see for yourselves!

The historic home was beautiful, the beds were comfy and the catering was wonderful. Loved our stay and only wish we’d had more time. Definitely recommend.
