I had a terrible stay because I was dealing with what I believed were bed bugs. I told the village managers, but they insisted it was a mosquito. The bites didn't look like mosquito bites to me, and a doctor told me they were bed bugs. Even after I went back and shared that, the managers kept saying it wasn't BED BUGS and that the doctor was wrong. They didn't help me with it at all. I can't believe how they handled this, and I won't stay there again or recommend the place.

Living in the student village was a great experience, with access to university resources, including IT services. I'd highly recommend this accommodation and setting to international students planning to study at AUT.

During the end of semester at Auckland University of Technology, the student dormitory is a decent short-stay option, better than an Auckland motel or hotel for a brief visit. Just be aware the pool, gym and other student facilities might be closed.
