Sea view guest house

Melissa, the owner, was such a lovely and helpful host, and really compassionate too. The rooms were lovely, and the location is beautiful, only about a five-minute drive from the city while staying clear of the traffic and noise. I highly recommend Sea View Guest House!!!!!!!

The kids loved the pool, a nice chance to burn off some energy before our flight. We needed one night before flying overseas, and the room had what we needed, though it was small for a family of four. The price felt fair for the quality and the room was fine for a night’s sleep. As a family who needed rest, I was glad to read that late-night pool parties aren’t allowed. Everything was tidy, the in-room self-service breakfast worked well for an early start, and Melissa was a great host. Thanks, we may come back next time we’re in Auckland!

Melissa was an attentive, lovely host and made sure we had everything we needed for our one-night stay. The property is in a residential area, so there isn’t much to do close by, but the view over Auckland city is amazing. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub were well maintained.

I can confirm what the reviews say about Melissa and her hospitality. She’s a fabulous host and one of the easiest people I’ve ever dealt with. I booked one night, then had to extend for another because I was in a tight spot. The place felt like a little bit of heaven, really quiet and family friendly, with a lovely view and swimming pool.
