The staff were lovely, and the kitchen and bathrooms were clean, good and usable. I was here for a work trip. The shared room was very snug but did the job, though I had to be careful opening the door in case my roommate was behind it. A few hooks for hanging things like a towel would be an easy fix. It was a bit farther from the beach than I expected, and the nearby restaurants have island prices, so they aren't cheap.

A great hostel with a beautiful view, where a group of lefties can just chill. Diego really makes the place, he’s the warmest, nicest guy. If you're traveling solo and want a peaceful, meaningful start to your journey, this is the spot.

The people are what made this hostel feel like a second home. Victoria and Diego are its heart and soul, full of warmth and kindness, and the whole staff were just as lovely, attentive and always up for a smile or a chat. I felt so welcomed and looked after. It really is a little paradise, with a breathtaking ocean view and a magical outdoor area. Every space, from the rooms and kitchen to the bathrooms and common areas, was spotless and cosy.

The place was really peaceful, and the beach is just a five-minute walk away. I loved the amazing view and how clean and comfortable the hostel was. The staff were so friendly, especially Diego and Victoria, who made me feel very welcome. Thanks for making my last week in New Zealand such a nice one, and happy belated birthday to Diego 🥳🥳 Camilla

I liked exploring the island so much that I extended my stay to eight nights. The location is perfect, and the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Everything was very clean, from the rooms to the bathrooms, which were cleaned every day. The kitchen was well set up for cooking meals. Thanks for a lovely stay, I'd highly recommend this place.
