The beach is right there, and the staff are friendly. I've stayed here many times over more than 20 years, in both tents and cabins, and always had a great time. It's a classic spot for a beach holiday.

The stay was fine, but felt underwhelming for what we paid compared with other holiday parks. It was also hot, and we couldn't leave the windows or doors open because there were no screens to keep bugs out.

The facilities and security were faultless, and it's an absolute beaut of a camping ground. We had a nice little caravan and I'm tempted to get the same one next time. My partner has stayed a couple of times before, but this was my first visit. We checked out this morning. Thank you, Anton and your wife. We look forward to coming back.

Lovely staff, and you're so close to both town and the beach. The camping ground isn't the flashiest, but it's far from the worst. Location, location, location.

The beachside location is awesome, and the beach is great for walking or swimming. The beachfront is part of the domain, open to the public, and separated from the camp by low, secure fencing. Families and individuals were using the parking, community BBQ and beach. Gates close around 8pm to help prevent after-hours trouble and noise for campers. I arrived today and paid for a powered campervan site. They applied the NZMCA discount, and I was very happy with the generous site. The camp was only about 10% full on this Sunday night, so campers were well spaced out. Toilets and showers were clean and spacious. Anton checked me in, was friendly and accommodating, and suggested sites that would suit our needs. I'd definitely recommend it and will be back.
