The other guests were so friendly, which made the visit even nicer. We also appreciated how Waiheke Island Guesthouse handles waste, with separate bins for compost, recycling, scraps for the chickens, and general rubbish. Nicky was a thoughtful, welcoming host, and she shared fresh eggs from her own chickens. The place feels warm and cosy, surrounded by trees and plants, with a relaxed island feel. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Waiheke Island.

We’d be happy to come back to this quiet little guesthouse. It’s tucked among greenery on Waiheke Island, with a rustic charm and thoughtful warm touches that made it feel like a lovely place to unwind. Highly recommend.

The wine tour with Nicky was a highlight, a fun way to see the island and learn about its delicious grapes. We spent three nights here and loved the peaceful home in the middle of nature. I’d definitely recommend staying, and I’ll be back.

The outdoor hot tub was amazing, and in the morning you can feed the alpacas if you fancy. Grant and Natalie were generous hosts, even giving us lifts to and from the ferry. They left freshly made muesli out each morning, and our room was clean and comfortable. The place has an artistic, interesting feel, a nice change from a cookie cutter hotel. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

We enjoyed sitting in the spa pool after sunset and watching the stars. The place was a surprising find, carefully looked after and full of character thanks to its bohemian decor. It looked smaller from outside than it felt inside, and everything worked. They also had organic fruit they’d grown themselves. I’d totally recommend it! ☀️🏝️
