Picton Yacht Club Hotel

The views were decent, but I didn't get to try the pools. My only real complaint was the limited storage space, though that might just have been the room I booked.

My older granddaughter loved the pool just outside our door and wouldn't get out. We had a lovely stay, and it was an easy stroll into the town centre and to other local attractions.

The shower floor was slippery, my only downside. Otherwise, the rooms were a good size and very clean, and every room has a balcony. The restaurant is great, and there's a heated pool. The staff were wonderful, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant team and chefs. Everyone was personable and helpful. It's in a great spot, just a few minutes on foot from everything along the waterfront. I'd definitely stay again.

The ferry view was stunning, you could see them leaving and docking. The veranda wasn't very big, but that wasn't a big deal. For the price, it was alright and well recommended. The room was spotlessly clean, though smaller than I expected for the King Bed my wife booked. I was happy with how clean it was. It had towels and the usual amenities, but only tea bags, sugar, and milk.
