The motel is about a ten-minute walk from downtown Queenstown, and I always found a space in the free underground parking, whether I arrived in the afternoon or late at night. The washer and dryer are down there too, at the standard rate of $4 each to wash and dry. Our family unit had two twin beds and a queen, plus a mini-fridge, microwave, small electric stovetop, dishes, cutlery, dish soap, iron and ironing board, two TVs, a makeup towel, a portable fan, and more. The sheets were clean, though the pillows were quite flat. The bathroom was very modern, and we had a nice partial view of the lake. They also left a small bottle of fresh milk for coffee or tea. The receptionist on duty, whose name I didn’t get, gave such good restaurant recommendations that I was never disappointed. I’d definitely recommend staying here. No regrets!

The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, including parking. It’s about a 10-12 minute walk into central Queenstown, where there are loads of restaurants. One small observation from our trip around NZ: we stayed in about 20 places, and this was the only one using little throwaway toiletry packets. Given NZ’s eco efforts, I was surprised, since all the others had shampoo, body wash and similar things in refillable bottles.

We walked into a room that was already lovely and warm, just the right welcome. They called to let us know reception would close at 6pm and left clear self check-in instructions. We asked for fresh sheets and towels, and they changed the sheets at no extra cost, but the towels were forgotten.

We really enjoyed our stay. The motel is well appointed, close to the city centre, and every room has a lake view.

The lake looked beautiful from outside our room, though the view wasn’t as good from inside. Our room was spacious, with a little kitchen, a comfy bed and a jacuzzi bath, and the staff were friendly. One of the best places we stayed, and I only wish we could have extended the visit. Nothing to complain about.
